Public Service Announcement: Do NOT stand close to microwaves while microwaving food.
The world is not like the X-Men comics/movies. Radiation does NOT give people super powers, most of the time it just makes people uglier and gives people cancer or kills them. Also, radiation does NOT stay in one spot. I don’t think there’s ever been a point in human history where humans got this much passive casual radiation.
Instructions for someone who has been exposed to large doses of radiation in the past: Try and find a DNA sample of yourself from before you were exposed to the radiation. After you find it, preserve it multiple different ways such as in a fridge and freezer and sealed in a labeled mason jar. It might be possible to use your old DNA to fix your damaged DNA.
